Odisha is likely to witness continued spells of heavy to very heavy rain as two low pressure systems take shape over the region. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a low pressure area is expected to form over northwest Madhya Pradesh and its adjoining areas within the next 24 hours, while another system is likely to develop over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal and Odisha.
