Tension gripped commuters on the G Udayagiri-Kalinga road in Kandhamal district this morning after a wild tusker suddenly emerged onto the road and charged towards a passenger bus, halting traffic and sending passengers into panic. A video of the incident, captured by onlookers, has now gone viral on social media.
As per the events recorded in the video, the tusker, after standing for several minutes on the road and approaching the bus head-on, eventually retreated into the forest without causing physical harm. However, passengers were left shaken by the close encounter.
