Bhubaneswar, Oct. 20 -- From the disappearance of 24-year-old Mamita Meher, a teacher at Sunshine English Medium School at Mahaling in Kalahandi to the recovery of her half-charred dead body from an under-construction stadium and the confession of Govinda Sahu, the president of the managing committee of the school, in her killing, the events and sequences of the sensational case has snowballed into a major political crisis for the ruling BJD in the State after Sahu's alleged linkswith BJD MLA and Minister of State for Home, Dibyashankar Mishra surfaced.

The all-out protests by the Opposition BJP and Congress seem to have mounted troubles for the Minister and created discomfort for the BJD-led Odisha Government.
