Bhubaneswar, Feb. 21 -- In a major crackdown on narcotics trafficking, the Special Crime Unit of the Commissionerate Police on Saturday arrested three alleged drug peddlers and seized brown sugar worth approximately Rs 37 lakh from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Sameer Khan, Sk Irshad Mohammed, and Munaf Khan. According to police sources, all three are residents of the Jaleswar area in Balasore district. They were reportedly operating in Bhubaneswar and were caught red-handed while allegedly selling brown sugar in the city.
