In a shocking incident of theft, miscreants allegedly looted two donation boxes (hundis) from a temple in Ganjam district after locking the temple priest's house from the outside. The incident took place late last night at the Maa Dal Khai Temple located at Sanaghati under Rambha Police Station limits, along the National Highway-16.
According to reports, the unidentified miscreants broke into the temple premises after ensuring the priest was locked inside his residence. Taking advantage of the quiet hours, they managed to forcibly remove and flee with two donation boxes kept inside the temple sanctum.
