Bhubaneswar, Jan. 21 -- With the passage of Makar Sankranti, the intensity of winter has begun to ease across Odisha, as both minimum and maximum temperatures show a gradual upward trend. Over the past five days, most parts of the state have recorded a noticeable rise in temperatures, indicating a steady decline in cold conditions.
According to the Meteorological Department, the presence of successive western disturbances is expected to further influence weather patterns in the coming days, resulting in a gradual increase in both daytime and nighttime temperatures across the state. At present, no major weather system is active over Odisha, and dry weather conditions are likely to prevail for the next seven days.
