Bhubaneswar, Nov. 16 -- A suspect has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a microfinance agent near Kantabania under Sahadevkhunta police station limits in Balasore, Odisha. The incident occurred on November 5, when an employee of a microfinance company was travelling to Balasore with Rs 88,524 collected during field visits, which he had kept in the dickey of his motorcycle.

According to reports, the agent was returning after completing his collection work when three masked miscreants intercepted him, threatened him with a sharp weapon, and attacked the motorcycle's dickey with a machete before fleeing with the cash.
