Bhubaneswar, Jan. 16 -- Prohibitory orders continue to remain in force in Sundargarh town following a group clash, with the district administration maintaining restrictions to prevent any further escalation. Internet services have been suspended for 24 hours from 6 pm on Thursday, while all schools and colleges in the town were closed on Friday as a precautionary measure.
The restrictions were imposed in the wake of tension reported from the Regent Market area. Prohibitory orders under BNS Section 163 have been enforced across Sundargarh town. Police have stepped up patrolling, and the situation is being closely monitored by senior officials.
