Bhubaneswar, Jan. 22 -- Subhadra Yojana assistance amounting to over Rs 315 crore has been credited to the bank accounts of more than 4.57 lakh beneficiaries across Odisha on Thursday, January 22.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi formally disbursed the financial assistance at a state-level programme held at 11 am at the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) campus in Bhubaneswar. The funds were transferred directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts under the direct benefit transfer mechanism.
The disbursal covered both newly enrolled and previously excluded beneficiaries, expanding the reach of the welfare scheme.
