India, March 1 -- Odisha is all set to mark International Women's Day on March 8 with the disbursement of the second installment of the Subhadra Yojana. The prestigious scheme has touched a milestone of 1 crore women beneficiaries, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Saturday.

The funds will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on March 8, International Women's Day, during a special event set to be organised in Berhampur. In good news for all those who were rejected in the first installment, they will receive a total of Rs 10,000 (Rs 5000 each for both the first and second installments) together, the Deputy CM announced.
