Bhubaneswar, Feb. 23 -- Odisha Government has previously confirmed that the second installment of Rs 5,000 under Subhadra Yojana will be distributed on March 8, 2025 (International Women's Day). This follows the fourth phase of the first installment disbursed on February 8, 2025, benefiting over 18 lakh women, sources said on Sunday.

The Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system ensures transparent delivery to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries.

Eligibility requires Odisha residency, age 21-60 years, family income less than or equal to Rs 2.5 Lakh, and NFSA coverage. Exclusions apply to government employees, income taxpayers, families with less than five acres irrigated and/or 10 acres non-irrigated land.
