The Odisha government will reopen the Subhadra Yojana portal after August 9, allowing young women aged 21 and above to newly apply for the financial assistance scheme. The announcement was made on Wednesday by Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
The Deputy Chief Minister also confirmed that the scheme's third instalment will be disbursed on August 9, coinciding with Rakhi Purnima.
This fresh round of applications is part of the government's efforts to widen the reach of its flagship women empowerment initiative while also rectifying previous exclusions and strengthening verification.
