Puri, Sept. 16 -- The stranded Malaysian cargo ship, Jin Hwa 32 lying defunct at Rajhans beach near Chilika, was finally towed away into deep waters after hours of effort last night.

As per reports, a 15-member rescue team from Malaysia took the help of another ship MV-Cheetah and completed the salvage work last night. The defunct Jin Hwa 32 was reportedly tied with MV-Cheetah with a rope and towed away. Though receding tide played spoilsport in the day, high tide in the night turned out to be a blessing for the Malaysian crew who finally succeeded in towing it away into deep waters.
