Bhubaneswar, June 23 -- The Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Crime Branch on Wednesday arrested three persons in connection with spurious drugs trade in the State.

According to sources, the STF arrested the director and two staff of Medilloyd Medicament Private Limited for their alleged involvement in the illegal trade of the duplicate medicines.

The three accused have been forwarded to the court and over Rs 50 lakh saved in the bank account of the accused has been seized, Odisha Police informed.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said STF officials.
