Bhubaneswar, Jan. 11 -- India emerged as champions in the recently concluded South Asian Tennis Ball Cricket Championship in Nepal. Teams like Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh were vying for the top honours in the mega event. Eventually, India clinched the coveted title by getting the better of Bangladesh in the all-important summit clash.

Odisha tennis ball cricketer Preetam Pradhan was part of the Indian team that brought laurels for the country by emerging triumphant. Preetam is on cloud nine as he was part of the victorious Indian team. He was accorded a grand welcome by Raikia residents when he reached home.

Upon arrival in his village, Preetam expressed his pleasure to be part of the Indian team that emerged champion.
