Bhubaneswar, Dec. 10 -- A trained sniffer dog named 'Jackson' helped Railway Police foil a ganja smuggling attempt during a search operation in Bhubaneswar. Jackson, who works under the RPF and GRP units, has detected suspicious parcels by sniffing out the presence of illegal narcotics concealed inside them, official sources said on Wednesday.
During routine checks on parcels being transported by train, Jackson alerted officers to two packages containing large quantities of ganja. Acting swiftly on the canine's signal, the Bhubaneswar GRP seized the unclaimed parcels and intercepted two individuals involved in the smuggling attempt.
The illegal consignment was allegedly being transported from Bhubaneswar to Jhansi when the operation too...
