Bhubaneswar, Feb. 18 -- A suspected sex racket was uncovered in Odisha's Bolangir town after police carried out a raid following a specific tip-off. The operation was conducted on Wednesday at a house located near the Sudapada gas godown area, where illegal activities were allegedly being run in secrecy.

Acting promptly on the information received, Bolangir Town Police raided the premises and detained three customers from the spot. During the operation, two women involved in the prostitution racket were rescued and taken by the police.

The house owner, believed to be a woman, accused of running the racket illegally, has also been detained and is currently being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation.
