Bhubaneswar, Jan. 10 -- Severe frost conditions continued for the fourth consecutive day in Koida area of Sundargarh district, as prolonged cold weather disrupted normal life across the region. Night-time dew froze into ice due to sustained low temperatures, with the mercury remaining below 5 degrees Celsius for two successive nights, leading to widespread frost formation.

Several parts of the Koida region witnessed intense frost, with the entire town appearing draped in a white layer during the early morning hours.
