Several Villages Remain Untouched By COVID-19 In Odisha
Bhubaneswar, June 11 -- At a time when the second wave of COVID-19 has swept through the country, several villages in Ganjam district have been able to hold out against the virus, thanks to their self-discipline and awareness.
Hard works of Anganwadi and Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) staff have paid off for these 'Covid-free' villages. Besides, timely action of the district administration and especially people's awareness seem to be the key to the Kankia panchayat's immunity to the virus.
Health workers and panchayat office staff are reportedly making door-to-door survey in the area and conducting health check up while ensuring that people are following Covid safety protocols.
