Bhubaneswar, Feb. 21 -- In an unfortunate incident, several Class 10 students on their way to the exam centre for the annual matriculation exam, sustained injuries after the vehicle carrying them overturned mid-way. The condition of one girl student is stated to be critical, depriving her of the exam.

The shocking incident has been reported from Krushnanagar under Rajnagar block in Kendrapara district.

According to sources, as many as 11 students were en route to their exam center in an SUV. The tragic mishap occurred after the driver lost balance on the wheels and hit a cyclist on the road. While the cyclist was killed on the spot, the students sustained critical injuries. The deceased cyclist has been identified as Subrat Mandal.
