Ashish Thakare, an IAS officer from the 2011 batch (Odisha cadre), was posted on Tuesday as Director in the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in New Delhi, a notification issued by the Department of Personnel & Training in this regard mentioned.
The appointment, made under the Central Staffing Scheme, will be effective for a period of five years from the date Thakare takes charge or until further instructions are issued.
