Bhubaneswar, Nov. 19 -- In view of the heavy tourist footfall expected during the peak tourism season, Puri Superintendent of Police Prateek Singh reviewed the security arrangements in Konark on Wednesday.
With thousands of visitors arriving daily to witness the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Sun Temple, police have intensified surveillance and strengthened ground-level preparations.
During his inspection, the SP examined the existing security setup around the Sun Temple and emphasised the need to further enhance measures in the coming days. Singh directed officials to remain alert and ensure round-the-clock monitoring of sensitive zones.
