A sea bath turned disturbing on Sonapur beach in Ganjam district, on Sunday, when a youth went missing while bathing in the sea, and another was rescued in time. The incident occurred when four youths from Chikiti area had gone to the beach for a bath.
According to police sources, Amit Kumar Pradhan (18) and Sipu Pradhan (19), both from Liakhai village under Chikiti K Nuagaon police limits, entered the sea to bathe while their two other friends - Rajesh Kumar Pradhan (19) and Dipu Pradhan (19) - stayed ashore.
