A Sanskrit teacher in Odisha's Sundargarh district has been accused of misconduct by seven girl students, prompting a police probe. The in-charge headmistress of the school lodged a complaint at the Gurundia police station after the allegations surfaced.
The incident was reported from a school in the Gurundia block. Following the complaint, the teacher reportedly applied for leave and went absconding. Police have confirmed that appropriate action will be taken once the school reopens after the holidays.
