Bhubaneswar, April 14 -- Renowned director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his controversial yet commercially successful films like Arjun Reddy and Animal, recently stirred excitement when he suggested Tamil superstar Suriya for the lead role in a potential Tamil adaptation of Animal.

As per an OTT play report, in a recent awards function held in Chennai and attended by Sandeep, the director was asked who in would be an appropriate actor if a Tamil version of the film is to be made.

When he was asked which Tamil actor would be best suited for Ranbir's role in the film. To this, Sandeep said Suriya, which was met with crowds cheering.
