Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- The Odisha government on Wednesday projected the state as an emerging powerhouse in the field of artificial intelligence, highlighting plans for a sovereign AI hub that is expected to transform its economic landscape over the next five years.

According to a The Times of India report, the proposed facility will be supported by an investment of Rs 20,000 crore from Sarvam AI and is estimated to generate around 5,000 highly skilled employment opportunities.
