The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are set to offer over 50,000 appointments in the financial year 2025-26, the Ministry of Railways announced on Wednesday.
Over 9,000 candidates have already received appointment letters in the first quarter of the current financial year.
Since November 2024, the RRBs have conducted Computer Based Tests (CBTs) for more than 1.86 crore candidates across seven different notifications, covering a total of 55,197 vacancies.
The Ministry said this large-scale effort is aimed at enabling more than 50,000 appointments within this financial year.
