India, March 31 -- Odisha government aims to construct nearly 6,500 kilometres of roads in the State during the upcoming financial year, kicking off a comprehensive plan to build a total of around 15,000 kilometres within three years, Works Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan said on Monday.

This ambitious infrastructure development initiative promises an investment of more than Rs 2 lakh crore. Following a strategic review meeting held in Bhubaneswar with top officials of the Department, the Minister announced these targets.
