With the grand Rath Yatra festival halfway through, preparations have begun for Bahuda Yatra- the homecoming journey of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.
As part of the ritual, all three chariots, Nandighosa, Taladhwaja, and Darpadalana, will take 'Dakhina Moda' on Wednesday, marking the start of 'Bahuda' arrangements.
The chariots are currently stationed facing north in front of the Gundicha Temple. On the occasion of Shasthi Tithi, today, the chariots will be ceremonially turned south and aligned near the Nakachana Dwara, the southern gate of the temple.
