Bhubaneswar, Dec. 2 -- Following directions from the Delhi High Court, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) carried out a renewed evaluation of Dhurandhar after objections were raised by the parents of Ashoka Chakra awardee Late Major Mohit Sharma. The review, undertaken in compliance with the Court's order dated December 1, 2025, determined that the film has no connection to Major Sharma, offering major relief to the makers of the Ranveer Singh-led project.

The latest communication from the Board rejects the family's concerns and asserts that the film bears no resemblance to the officer's life, service, or experiences.
