Bhubaneswar, Jan. 27 -- Ranbir Kapoor has finally put all speculation to rest by confirming that Animal is not just a standalone film but part of a full-fledged trilogy.

The actor revealed that the franchise was always envisioned as a three-part story by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, with Animal Park serving as the second instalment.

While fans have been eagerly waiting for updates, Ranbir made it clear that the next chapter will take time, as the film is expected to go on floors only in 2027.
