India, Feb. 14 -- With no significant synoptic system lying in the region and dry weather prevailing over the districts of Odisha, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted on Friday brief spells of rain in nine districts from February 19 to 21.

The forecast anticipates light to moderate rainfall in these districts, offering a brief respite from the dry conditions affecting the region for the last several days. Rain is anticipated in Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Jajpur, while light to moderate showers are expected in districts including Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.
