Bhubaneswar, Sept. 13 -- Even as rain fury has unleashed havoc in several parts of Odisha breaking precipitation records of past several decades in the past two days while throwing life of people out of gear, there is little likelihood of any immediate respite from the downpours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The IMD regional centre in Bhubaneswar in its special weather bulletin has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in seven districts of the State in the next 12 hours under the influence of the Deep Depression system over north interior Odisha.
