Bhubaneswar, Jan. 18 -- Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise has become a pan India success shattering numerous box office records.

Directed by Sukumar, the movie became an instant hit after screening on December 17 last year while paving the way for massive rise in popularity of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna at the national level.

While both the South icons played the leads, portraying crude and unpolished characters in the flick, an Odia actor M Ramakrishna also known as Shatru in Tollywood industry played the role of Inspector Gobindapa in the movie.
