Bhubaneswar, March 9 -- The first meeting of the high-level committee formed by the Odisha government to supervise the process of inventory of valuables in the Ratna Bhandar (treasure trove) of Lord Jagannath Temple was held in Puri on Saturday.

The meeting was chaired by retired Supreme Court judge, Justice Arijit Pasayat at the office of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).

The last time the Ratna Bhandar was opened for an inventory was in the year 1978.
