Sacred ornaments of Lord Jagannath and His siblings in Puri, currently stored in a temporary treasury, will be relocated to the original Ratna Bhandar on September 23, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) sources said on Wednesday.
This decision was taken in a recent meeting of the Ratna Bhandar Subcommittee, chaired by the Chief Administrator.
The shifting will begin at 4.00 AM with a special ritual called Dwarafita, and the transfer will occur during the Amrut Bela (auspicious time). If, for any reason, the transfer cannot be completed on the 23rd, it will take place the following day, on September 24.
