Bhubaneswar, Dec. 2 -- Popular YouTuber and journalist Shubhankar Mishra on Tuesday issued a public apology after facing massive backlash for his controversial remarks regarding the Puri Jagannath Temple. As criticism and protests intensified across various platforms, Mishra ultimately deleted the disputed video and shared an apology on his YouTube channel.

Earlier, Shubhankar had claimed that couples in a romantic relationship visiting the Srimandir before marriage would not be able to get married. He had also stated that the temple was under 'Radharani's curse.'
