Bhubaneswar, Dec. 10 -- A serious allegation has emerged from a private management university located on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, where a student has accused fellow classmates and senior students of assaulting him after he opposed drug consumption on campus.

The student's family filed a complaint at Pipili police station, leading to the registration of a case and the initiation of a formal investigation, police confirmed.

According to the allegations, the victim objected to students openly consuming drugs inside the classroom. The complaint stated that some classmates and senior students allegedly forced him to take drugs and, upon his refusal, physically assaulted him.
