Bhubaneswar, Nov. 20 -- A private transport office near Block Chhak in Koida in Odisha's Sundargarh, was robbed at gunpoint around midnight on Wednesday, with miscreants escaping with more than Rs 3 lakh.
According to reports, a group of 7-8 masked individuals entered the office and held the staff at gunpoint before taking the cash.
The robbers reportedly overpowered the four employees present by threatening them with firearms and sharp weapons. They then broke open a table drawer and took the money kept inside.
The group also allegedly damaged computers and other equipment in the office. Two teams, including officers from Koida police station, reached the spot and launched an investigation.
