Bhubaneswar, Feb. 3 -- President Droupadi Murmu, who is on a six-day visit to Odisha, visited Jajpur on Tuesday, the second day of her tour, and offered prayers at the revered Maa Biraja Temple, according to her official schedule.
During her visit, the President paid obeisance at the shrine of Maa Biraja, the presiding deity of the district. She was scheduled to spend over one-and-a-half hours at the temple complex. At the time of reporting, President Murmu was performing Pinda Daan at Nabhi Gaya, a sacred site located near the Biraja Temple.
