Bhubaneswar, Nov. 21 -- In a historic first for Odisha, the winter session of the State Assembly will begin on November 27 with an address by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu. This marks the first time a sitting President will address members of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
President Droupadi Murmu will land at Bhubaneswar Airport and proceed directly to the Governor's House for a brief rest. She is expected to reach the Assembly at 4.20 pm, and the address will commence at 4:30 pm.
Odisha Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy confirmed the schedule and stated that the event will be attended by Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, opposition leaders, and all members of the Assembly.
