Bhubaneswar, Nov. 10 -- PresidentDroupadiMurmu is likely to visit Odisha towards the end of November, marking her first visit to the State Assembly after assuming office, Law and Works Minister PrithvirajHarichandan informed on Monday. While a formal schedule from Rashtrapati Bhavan is awaited, officials have begun preparations, anticipating the visit.

According to MinisterHarichandan, the Odisha Government had proposed that the President address the upcoming winter session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, and a tentative confirmation has been received.

"The details of the programme are being finalised. There is a possibility of it (PresidentMurmu visiting Odisha). Additional information will be shared in due time," he said.
