India, Feb. 16 -- The 'Odisha Economic Survey 2024-25' report, highlighting the State's economic advances, has sparked debate and major political parties started taking the credit on Sunday.
Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Prasanna Acharya attributed Odisha's economic progress from 2019 to 2024 to the efforts of the previous government. The Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan highlighted that the incumbent government implemented several strategies to address inflation and bolster the State's economy.
The Congress party has countered these claims by stating that if political entities vie for recognition over the economic development, they must also bear the responsibility for escalating cost of living.
