India, Feb. 16 -- The main accused in the murder of Police Mitra Sahadev Nayak surrendered at Mancheswar police station in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. Reports stated that the main accused, identified as Rama Nayak, was part of an intricate murder plot hatched by two others- Lipika Nayak and her spouse, Laxmidhar.

The murder, which occurred in broad daylight on January 8 at the Rasulgarh to Vani Vihar highway, sent shockwaves through Bhubaneswar. During an investigation, police had lined up three accused in the case of whom, Rama Nayak was on the run ever since the attack on Sahadev Nayak.
