Bhubaneswar, Dec. 28 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday recalled the contributions of eminent Odia freedom fighter Parbati Giri during his Mann Ki Baat address, paying tribute to her role in India's freedom movement and her lifelong commitment to social service. Describing her as a source of inspiration, the Prime Minister said several freedom fighters had not received the recognition they truly deserved, and Parbati Giri was one such figure.
