India, March 30 -- A Plus 3, 2nd-year student of Utkal University in Bhubaneswar, was found dead in his hostel room under mysterious circumstances early this morning. The deceased has been identified as Tapas Ranjan Nayak.

Sources reported that Nayak was a student of the university's Philosophy Department and was residing in the Madhusudhan Hostel of the university. On Saturday night, he reportedly went to bed as usual but was found dead this morning.

Police Involvement and Body Recovery Subsequently, his roommates informed the hostel authorities, who then contacted the police. Upon reaching the spot, police recovered the body and shifted it to Capital Hospital for further examination.
