Bhubaneswar, Feb. 7 -- A complaint filed by a lady Additional Tahsildar against a Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) has led to a major administrative controversy in Ganjam district, with counter-allegations now emerging from the PEO's family.

According to official sources, the lady Additional Tahsildar has allegedly accused the PEO of misconduct during a marathon organised on February 3 as part of a local festival. Following the incident, she approached the Internal Complaints Committee and also lodged an FIR at Golanthara police station in connection with the alleged misbehaviour.
