Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and prominent businessman from Bihar, Gopal Khemka, was fatally shot late on Friday night near his home in Patna by an unidentified assailant riding a motorbike, police confirmed on Saturday.
The incident occurred at approximately 11.40 pm in the Gandhi Maidan area of the city.
She further added, "A bullet and a cartridge have been recovered from the spot. CCTV footage is also being examined. Preliminary investigation suggests he was gunned down by an unidentified bike-borne assailant."
