Bhubaneswar, Dec. 6 -- Over 6.23 lakh applications of beneficiaries for inclusion under the Subhadra Yojana are still under consideration, informed Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida in the Odisha Legislative Assembly on Saturday.

While replying to a question raised by BJD MLA Ganeshwar Behera, the Dy CM said the applications are undergoing scrutiny and verification at various levels before a final decision is taken.

According to the reply placed in the House, a total of 6,23,555 fresh applications submitted for inclusion in the scheme are presently under examination.
