India, April 9 -- Malkangiri district administration initiated efforts on Wednesday to provide the residents of Odisha's Jumadang village (bordering Andhra Pradesh) with different welfare schemes of the State, following a report by OTV.
According to the official sources, this action pertains to the situation in Jumadang village, located in Chitrakonda block, which is reportedly influenced by the neighbouring state. Close to the State border, local officials, including the Additional District Magistrate and Chitrakonda tehsildar, have undertaken a fact-finding visit to the area.
